Sparksoft Corporation Announces the Promotion of Jag Akula to Chief Technology Officer

Columbia, MD, December 08, 2025 – Sparksoft Corporation, an industry leader of innovative Digital Health solutions, is thrilled to announce that Jagadish “Jag” Akula has been appointed as our inaugural Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With a Master's degree in Engineering from South Dakota Mines and over 20 years of IT leadership experience in the government contracting industry, Jag has served in progressive roles supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and expanding Sparksoft’s footprint into adjacent Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) markets at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). He delivered several critical CMS project tasks working as a business consultant, IT program manager, and technical advisor. Over the past 9 years at Sparksoft, Mr. Akula served as the Director of Technical Solutions, where he was responsible for leading the technology strategy and providing solutions for the continuously evolving government requirements.

As the Chief Technology Officer, Jag will lead and support all aspects of Sparksoft’s technical footprint, ensuring we continue to innovate and deliver exceptional solutions. Jag will also implement and lead the Corporate Technical Review Board (TRB) that will play a critical role in reviewing all technical solutions across both growth initiatives and delivery operations, ensuring alignment with our strategic vision and technical excellence. The TRB will also serve as a hub for sharing best practices and collectively advancing our capabilities in the ever-evolving landscape of applying cutting-edge technology to enable the complex government missions and policy challenges across Sparksoft’s core business domains in Medicare, Medicaid, ACA Marketplace, Military Health, and Life Sciences, including epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, clinical quality, and medical research market segments.
